Howdy,
I look for interesting projects on various Reddits (/r/DIY, /r/Woodworking, /r/Metalworking, etc) and when something catches my eye, I model it in SolidWorks. I do this because it is excellent practice, and I genuinely find SolidWorks to be a fun program to work in.
I post EASM files of my work for others to see. These files can be opened with the free eDrawings Viewer provided by SolidWorks here:
